Scottish Arts Council 70-108. - Enthält die Märchen "Little Sea Hare"; "Fundevogel", "Rapunzel", "Old Rinkrank"; und "Rumpelstilzchen". - " But for the whole of 1969 there's no other painting, because in about March I started the etchings for Six fairy tales from the Brothers Grimm. It was something I'd been wanting to do for a few years, and by then, I'd got enough material to start. I did quite a few drawings for it; I was drawing a lot at that time [ ...] I'd always enjoyed the fairy tales very much and thought I'd like to illustrate them, make a book rather like the Cavafy book, taking some of the stories; I'd read them all, about three hundred and fifty. By the time I began the etchings I'd decided to cut it down to about twenty stories ... In the end I kept cutting out the stories, realizing I couldn't illustrate too many" (D.
