Four papyrus fragments. Coptic period, late 1st millennium AD. Framed together under glass (not examined outside the frame). Labelled ‘IC53’ to ‘IC56’.
Four papyrus fragments with text written in black ink. Measuring between 2.7 x 2 cm and 6.7 x 3 cm. Some are written on both sides. - According to the accompanying certificate of authenticity, the fragments come from the collection of John Ingles (1925–2016), Sweden, who presumably acquired them in the 1960s or 1970s in the UK or Israel. They were on display at the Leksand Library between 1981 and 1990.
