Scholz’s Künstler-Bilderbücher 40. – Seebaß II, 631. Stuck Villa II, 336. Doderer Supplementary Volume, p. 526. – First edition. - Uzarski (1885–1970) attended, amongst other institutions, the Düsseldorf School of Applied Arts and was a co-founder of the cultural association ‘Das junge Rheinland’. Due to his scathing attacks on conservative views of art and his reactionary politics, his satirical books were banned by the National Socialists after 1933.
