Woodcut on laid paper with watermark fragment "Bull's Head with Caduceus" (Meder Wz. 81). 16,7 x 12,5 cm. Schoch/Mende/Scherbaum 232; Meder 229, I. – Bearing the year. Presumably an early single-sheet print predating the book edition. As described by Meder, full-edge, without gaps, clean and sharp, and bearing the corresponding watermark.
(Trimmed close to the mounting line. Slightly tanned. Tiny light spot to the right of the tree, possibly wax. Traces of mounting on the reverse.)
