Ingolstadt: D. Sartorius 1577. 20,3 x 15,2 cm. With a woodcut title vignette (coat of arms of Mark Sittich von Hohenems, Bishop of Constance). Title in red and black. 5 leaves, 841 pages. Blind-embossed pigskin over wooden covers, bound with four bands, featuring two remnants of clasps and a handwritten title on the spine.
(Stained, joints torn, dusty, with wormholes; back cover has two restored missing sections. Closure straps missing. Title page is dusty, with damp edges, a small patch on the outer margin, and a handwritten ownership note on the bottom margin. Water stains along the edges almost throughout. A few small tears along the edges. Slightly browned, with some underlining and marginal notes in brown ink.)
