Blind-stamped pigskin, 4 bands, with a handwritten label on the spine.

(Worn, bumped, stained and worm-eaten. Front cover with small scuff marks; back cover lining torn and with a small loss at the lower spine. Front endpaper bearing a library label from the library of the Capuchin monastery in Eichstätt. Flying endpaper with two patches. Title page with two small losses and a patch at the top edge, handwritten Ownership and call number notes and a water stain in the spine. The first leaf below the bookmark is torn. The title page of the second volume, including the bookmark, is slightly stained at the edges. Leaf Bb³ of the second volume has a glued tear in the lower margin. Browned, with some age spots, faint water marks in places and a few small paper tears.)
