(Slightly rubbed, partly bumped; two spine covers with scuff marks. Endpapers showing traces of browning from where a private dust jacket was once glued. Titles partly stamped. One leaf in Vol. 1 and two in Vol. 4 have come loose from the binding. With a few small areas of paper thinning, minimally stained in places, slightly browned. The appendix to Vol. 4 is heavily faded and barely legible.)
