Half-leather with a back label and back decoration.
(Worn, slightly bumped, with a few light stains. Endpapers show signs of glue discolouration. Minimal signs of age.)

The work lists, in chronological order, imperial, royal and princely documents, as well as numerous privileges, foundation charters, monastic documents, municipal records and documents relating to the nobility, thereby covering the written historical record from the earliest times up to the year 1778. These three volumes cover the period from 786 to 1525. The fourth volume was not published until 1798, and the planned continuation up to the year 1778 was never realised.
