The interior of the text volume is stained with brown spots and water marks, with a few marginal notes, underlinings and strikings-through, as well as a bookplate on the front endpaper. The plates are slightly stained, mostly with some finger marks in the white margins; Plate VIII has small tears in the lower edge; bookplate on the reverse side.)
