XVI pp., 555 pp. Original brown linen binding with dark brown embossed title labels on the cover and spine. Head edges are colored.

Kumbum Dschamba Ling is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery dating from the Ming Dynasty, around 1560. Filchner explored the monastery and the surrounding region beginning around 1926. It is considered one of the six great monasteries of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism. Without the dust jacket.
