Gereproduceerd, op last van het Departement van Koloniën, aan de topographische Inrichting te's Gravenhage, onder Leiding van den Directeur C. A. Eckstein. Den Haag: Snelpersdruk der Top. Inrichting 1883-85. 62 x 44,5 cm. Includes an overview sheet and 14 further colour lithographic maps. Half-linen cassette.
(Cassette heavily scuffed and battered. With traces of glue and missing sections. Cards have yellowed. The fastenings are coming loose on all the cards. The lower fold is loose.)
All sheets are double-coloured. The maps are: a general map, Java and Madura, West, Central and East Java, North, Central and South Sumatra, Bangka, Billiton, Riouw and the Lingga Archipelago, North and South Borneo, Celebes, the Sunda Islands, the Moluccas and Amboina. Each sheet is reinforced with linen strips.
