A collection of 10 original drawings by various (Munich-based) illustrators and caricaturists, c. 1900.


1) Eugen Feiks: Ink drawing with perforation on light card. Signed. Stamp on the reverse reading ‘Für die Meggendorfer-Blätter, München’. 25.2 x 36.5 cm.

2) Theodor Grätz: Three-part series of ink drawings on card, partially enhanced with chalk and white overpaint. Last sheet signed. Each approx. 36.5 x 27.5 cm.

3) August von Meissl: 2 original drawings, in pencil, chalk, ink and watercolour, and white overpainting. Each signed. 30.5 x 41.8 cm and 47.7 x 40.8 cm.

4) Georg Mühlberg: 2 ink drawings on card. Signed. Each approx. 36 x 25.5 cm.

5) Josef Mukařovský: Ink drawing with corrections in white overpaint. Signed. Stamped on the reverse: ‘Für die Meggendorfer Blätter, München’. 34 x 42.7 cm.

6) Arpad Schmidhammer: Ink, underdrawn in blue pen and with white corrections on card. With ‘Frosch’ monogram. Published in *Die Jugend*; 25.5 x 28.3 cm

Also included are 2 (stencil) colour book illustrations on brown tracing paper by Robert Polack for Alfred de Musset’s ‘Ses Plus Beaux Vers’. Each measures 19.9 x 14.7 cm.
