(Slightly rubbed and with a few light stains. The flyleaf shows crease marks. Two text leaves have small tears at the margins. Some plates contain marginal notes or transcriptions of the original labels into Latin characters. The reverse of the map has finger stains. Minor signs of age, with a few isolated, minimal stains. The last sheet bears traces of a stamp.)
Enay/Azadi 319. - A bilingual (Azerbaijani/Russian) standard reference work on Azerbaijani (Caucasian) carpets. Kerimov was the first to systematically catalogue the regional diversity of types, motifs and forms.
