Village kermesse with peasants feasting under a pergola. Etching on laid paper with watermark (“IA” or “IV”?). 12,8 x 17,5 cm. Godefroy 47, V (v. VII); New Hollstein 28, IV/VI.
(Trimmed just over the edge of the platemark, with a slim margin around the framing line. Heavily browned and with numerous light-coloured spots; traces of adhesive showing through in the upper corners. A small defect in the bottom right-hand corner, to the left of the pig. On the reverse, a handwritten ownership mark ‘E.J.’ in old handwriting and traces of mounting.)
