Blind-stamped pigskin over wooden covers with 4 bands, featuring portrait centrepieces on the covers and 2 fastenings.
(Stained and mottled; lower corners and edges restored; clasps missing. Title page with a crease, brown and water-stained, with a repaired corner tear and wormholes; title page detached from the lower binding. The first page of the dedication with a repaired corner tear. The first and last sections have damp edges. Browning of varying degrees throughout, with occasional water or brown stains.)
