Title page with a large, backed tear in the lower margin, a owner’s inscription and fragmentary notes, as well as water stains. Up to folio D, there are foxing and a large water stain; 2 leaves have large tears, and the first leaf of the dedication has been backed along the margin. Numerous, mostly minor marginal tears. The upper spine is water-stained. Folio Yy has been trimmed along the bottom margin. Browned. Marginal notes in brown ink. Remnants of loose leaves.)

This extensive body of legislation, drafted primarily by the court chancellors Johann Gailkircher and Simon Wangnereck, as well as the Munich town clerk Georg Locher, constituted the first comprehensive compilation of the entire body of Bavarian provincial law and remained legally binding for around 150 years. It covers procedural law, public forced sales, court regulations, provincial law, provincial liberties, and provincial and police regulations. In addition, it also addresses forestry and hunting regulations, as well as provisions governing criminal proceedings. The woodcuts depict life-size fish and a crab as standards of measurement.
