Blind-stamped pigskin on 5 bands over wooden covers, with a handwritten title on the spine and remnants of 2 clasps.
(Stained and slightly mottled. Bindings lost. The lower back panel shows glue stains. Missing the printed title page. Title page and last leaf stamped. Title page bears a handwritten ownership note in brown ink. Approx. 20 leaves show small wormholes in the white margins. 1 leaf has minor ink damage. Minimal signs of age.)

Intended for the consultation of high-ranking and prominent patients, these consultations cover a broad spectrum of clinical conditions, including neurological and mental disorders, dental diseases, and numerous internal and surgical ailments. Mermann served as personal physician to the Prince-Bishop of Eichstätt and the Dukes of Bavaria. The volume was edited by Franz Ignaz Thiermair.
