Contains a portrait of Manesson-Mallet (1630–1706) and a portrait of Louis XIV. The intricate copperplate engravings depict measuring instruments as well as views of palaces, gardens and towns, including Versailles, Fontainebleau, Chantilly, Notre-Dame, Mont St Michel, Richelieu, the Leaning Tower of Pisa and many more.
