(Scuffed and bumped. Book block slightly cracked; showing signs of wear and water stains. Underlining and annotations in the text, as well as handwritten notes on the verso of the flyleaf. After page 184, in the fold, there are two mounted newspaper cuttings from *Poultry* dating from the period.)
Nissen ZBI 1462. - A book edition originally published in instalments, issued as a companion volume to "Illustrated Book of Poultry", which had already been published to great acclaim (see Preface).
