(Some wear and scuffs. A few water stains and age spots; the maps are slightly stained and show some creases.)
Schmitt 218. – The third edition of the early Rhine guide, revised and expanded to include the routes ‘From Aachen … to Rotterdam’ and ‘to Amsterdam …’. - The two maps, taken from the second edition, show the course of the Rhine ‘from Schaffhausen to Mannheim, together with the mountain and Rhine roads on both sides of the river’ and ‘from Mannheim to Wesel, together with the Moselle as far as Trier’, both dated 1822. - In the version without the town plans.
