(Scuffed and bumped. Inner joints torn, and the rear joint cracked. Damp and age-related stains in places.)

Borba de Moraes I, 121. – First edition. - The travelogue was prompted by the tragic death of the Hawaiian King Kamehamea II and his wife, who contracted measles and died whilst on a state visit to London. The British government arranged for their remains to be repatriated to Hawaii and took the opportunity to compile a scientific report on the Sandwich Islands, named by James Cook.
