Compare the three differently coloured versions from the collection of the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando (inv. nos. 0229, 1336, 1337). These examples are described as watercolours or oil paintings, but display the same details as our example; see the groups of figures and the outline contours. There, they are attributed to an artist named A. Tironi on the basis of an inscription on the lower right-hand side of the tympanum.
