(Worn, with minimal scuffing; spine slightly faded; front joint loose. Inside flyleaf, verso, bears a handwritten ownership note in blue ink. Some slight finger-stains on the edges. A few leaves in the lower spine are slightly compressed.)
An interesting collection of ethnographic photographs by Schaffrath, who worked as a civil engineer for the Imperial Government in Herbertshöhe (now Kokopo in Papua New Guinea).
