Supplement No. 12 to the Mitteilungen aus den deutschen Schutzgebieten. - First edition. Exlibris on the inside cover reading “Gerhard Wetteborn.” Behrmann was a German geographer. In 1910, while working as an assistant at the Institute of Geography, he developed the so-called “Behrmann cylindrical projection,” an area-preserving cylindrical projection that is still in use today.
