Payment of auction invoices is possible by cash, girocard/Maestro-Card, by Mastercard or Visa (+ 3 %) or by cheque. New customers are requested for a certified cheque.
The payment of invoices is due at once, payment by bank transfer is to be made within ten days.
Venator & Hanstein will charge an amount of € 15.00 for payments by foreign cheques or foreign bank transfer unless the customer will bear the costs.
Please note that we are obliged according to the money laundering act to ascertain the particulars of customers at cash down payment of more than € 15,000 by a paper of identity.
Venator & Hanstein will organize the shipment of objects sold at auction for out-of-town buyers.
The goods will be be shipped by an international parcel service. Should you, however, desire another means of dispatch, please let us know ahead of time. Goods to be sent overseas will be sent, if possible, by air mail.
The costs for the necessary packaging, shipment and insurance are to be carried by the buyer and included on the auction invoice.
The goods will be packed expertly and with great care so as to avoid any possible damage. Framed goods are always sent without glass and frames. We recommend picking up especially fragile or large shipments with a shipping company.
